What this is

After activation, a SubscriptionFlow menu appears in your WordPress admin sidebar. Clicking it opens the Dashboard — an at‑a‑glance summary — and reveals sub‑pages for every part of the plugin.

Where to find it: WordPress admin → SubscriptionFlow (sidebar).

The brand banner (hero)

At the top of every SubscriptionFlow screen you’ll see a banner with the SubscriptionFlow logo, name, and a short description. On the right it shows either:

  • an Upgrade to Pro button (on the Free plan), or
  • a Pro badge (once your license is active).

The banner always sits below any WordPress or plugin notices, so important messages stay visible.

The Dashboard summary cards

The main Dashboard page shows four quick stat cards:

Card What it tells you
Total Licenses Every license ever issued by your store.
Active Licenses currently valid and in use.
Grace Period Licenses that expired but are still within their grace window.
Expired Licenses whose grace period has ended.

These give you an instant health check of your subscription base.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Start at the Dashboard. The four cards tell you at a glance whether renewals are healthy or a wave of licenses is expiring.

  • Use Licenses for day‑to‑day support. Most customer requests (change plan, extend, cancel, refund) are handled from a single license’s edit screen.

  • Check Activations when a customer reports “it won’t activate”. You can see exactly which sites are using the license.

  • Keep an eye on the Grace Period card. A rising number there is your early warning that renewals are failing or customers are lapsing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t I see “Updates” or “API Logs” menus?

Those were removed to keep the menu focused on running a subscription store. Plugin updates happen automatically.

The Settings sub‑pages show an upgrade prompt. Why?

The Settings tabs (Dashboard, PDF Invoice, Checkout, Security) are Pro features. Activate your license to unlock them.

Do the stat cards update in real time?

They reflect your current data each time you open the Dashboard.

Can staff see this area without being an administrator?

Users with the Manage WooCommerce capability (typically Shop Managers) can access most SubscriptionFlow pages; the Settings page requires the higher Manage Options capability.

Is the customer dashboard the same as this admin dashboard?

No. This is the admin area for you. Customers use the front‑end dashboard shortcode or Elementor widget.

Where do I activate Pro?

On the License page — see License Activation.
