Elementor Dashboard Widget

The Dashboard Elementor widget is the drag-and-drop customer dashboard: the same self-service area as the shortcode, with full visual styling controls.

What this does

It places the customer dashboard onto any Elementor page and lets you style every part — colors, typography, cards, labels, empty states, and more — to match your brand exactly.

Why it exists: the [subscriptionflow_dashboard] shortcode is quick, but agencies and design‑focused stores want visual control. This widget gives it.

Prefer no page builder? Use the Dashboard Shortcode instead — it’s available on every plan.

How to add it

Step 1 — Edit a page with Elementor

Create or edit a page and click Edit with Elementor.

Step 2 — Find the widget

In the Elementor panel, search for “SubscriptionFlow Dashboard” and drag it onto the page.

Step 3 — Style it

Use the Content and Style tabs to configure labels, sections, and appearance.

Step 4 — Publish

Click Publish, then add the page to your menu.

What you can control

The widget exposes rich options in the Elementor panel, including:

  • Content: section labels (Subscriptions, Invoices, Profile, Security), empty‑state titles and text, button labels, and status messages.
  • Layout: which sections and columns to show.
  • Style: colors, typography, cards, badges, and spacing — driven through Elementor’s standard controls so global colors and fonts apply.

Because the widget renders the real customer dashboard, the Invoices and Security sections behave exactly as documented in Subscriptions & Invoices and Customer Profile.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use one dashboard per page. Don’t combine the shortcode and the widget on the same page.

  • Lean on Elementor global styles. Set your colors and fonts globally so the dashboard matches your whole site automatically.

  • Preview as a customer. Elementor’s editor shows a preview, but always check the live page while logged in as a test customer.

  • Customize empty states. Friendly “no subscriptions yet” text makes new accounts feel welcoming.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I find the widget in Elementor?

It only registers when a SubscriptionFlow Pro license is active. Activate your license, then reload the Elementor editor.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

Elementor Free is enough to use the widget; Elementor Pro isn’t required.

What’s the difference between the widget and the shortcode?

They render the same dashboard. The widget adds visual styling controls (Pro); the shortcode is simpler and available on all plans.

If my license expires, what happens to pages using the widget?

The widget stops rendering on Free. Use the shortcode as a fallback so customers keep access to their dashboard.

Can I show only certain sections?

Yes — the widget’s Content controls let you choose sections and labels.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Style it with Elementor’s responsive controls and test on a phone.
