What this does

It renders an enhanced checkout inside Elementor, so you can visually control the layout and style while keeping WooCommerce handling the payment. It’s the per‑page counterpart to the store‑wide Checkout Settings.

Why it exists: a great checkout converts better. This widget gives agencies and store owners full design control over the most important page in the funnel.

How to add it

  1. Create or edit your checkout page and click Edit with Elementor.
  2. Search for “SubscriptionFlow Checkout” and drag it onto the page.
  3. Choose a layout and preset, and add your trust messaging.
  4. Style it with Elementor’s controls, then Publish.

What you can control

  • Layout — one column, two columns, summary‑left, card, compact, or minimal.
  • Preset — a ready‑made visual style (minimal, dark, corporate, agency, compact).
  • Trust messaging — secure‑payment note, guarantee, and support text.
  • Style — colors, typography, spacing, and buttons via Elementor.

These mirror the store‑wide options in Checkout Settings, but applied visually on this specific page.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Design for focus. A single‑column or summary‑left layout usually converts best for subscriptions.

  • Add reassurance. Security and guarantee text reduce hesitation at the payment step.

  • Always test a real purchase in an incognito window, including on mobile.

  • Match your brand using Elementor global styles so the checkout feels part of your site.

  • Pick one place to configure. Use either store‑wide Checkout Settings or the widget per page to avoid confusion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn’t the Checkout widget in Elementor?

It’s Pro‑only and registers when your license is active. Activate it and reload the editor.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No — Elementor Free works.

Does this replace WooCommerce checkout logic?

No. It restyles/enhances the checkout; WooCommerce still processes the order and payment.

How does it relate to the Checkout Settings page?

The settings page sets store‑wide defaults; the widget applies design on a specific page. Use whichever suits your workflow.

Will it work with my payment gateways?

Yes — payments run through your normal WooCommerce gateways. For automatic renewals, use a supported gateway (PayPal Vault/Stripe).

Is it mobile‑friendly?

Yes — layouts are responsive; style with Elementor’s responsive controls and test on a phone.
